basmati rice:

Covered Pan Cooking

  • Take two cups of rice (200 gm) and soak the rice for 30 minutes.
  • In a pan, add 200 ml of water, and bring the water to a boil.
  • Strain the rice, add it to the boiling water, simmer for 10–12 mins, and then the rice is ready to be served!
