There are many different ways to cook 555 premium sona masoori rice:
Covered Pan Cooking
Place the washed rice in a thick bottom pan. Add 2½ cups of water and give it a good mix. Place it on high heat and bring it to a boil. Once it comes to a rolling boil, reduce the heat to the lowest setting.
Cover with a tight-fitting lid. Let it simmer on low heat for 15-17 minutes, or until the water is fully absorbed. Turn off the heat and let it sit for another 10 minutes. Mix gently and serve.
